Search for new locations for billboards has never been stronger. All The light is long gone. It looks hopeless, does not it?

WRONG! I have heard this from so many people over the years. And those who have given up almost immediately set in stone, in any case, their failure in the billboard business. But those who persevere and to think creatively – "outside the box" seems – will always find locations and to thrive. So how do you "think outside the box"?

First, you must have a businessBelieve that there any legal sites out there. And not when the market you are looking for, to enable the construction of new billboards, then I want to assure you that it is entirely possible. It is an individual that I know that seems to make a new character every time I turn around too. This boy has no training and not the great art of selling, but he thinks very creative. And it is really paying off. He believes that there is a place to have plentiful, and then proceeds systematicallyto prove themselves right.

Second, do what all others must be ignored, says about the possibility of finding a billboard location. Talk is cheap, and there are always people there to dampen the joy of enthusiasm. Think about yourself: "I'll find billboard locations, no matter what anyone says." If you are thinking to start "out of the box" that everyone will say that you are an idiot that you try, things do not work or can not be done.

Thirdly, and mostimportantly, you must let the creative side of the mind take over you, and you start to find tickets to the normal path to reach locations. These are some of my favorite "outside the box" concepts, but they are by no means all of them, and I'm not a definitive list because you should not accept my list not to think but the truth – that is to would be outside the box.

Here are my favorites:

Go to a city that does not allow billboards, and they act that allowed a deviationfor the construction of two or three billboards, if you build a few "Welcome to _______" sign at each end of the city.

Instead of starting from the center of town and working conditions, run out of town and work in – this gives you much greater chance of finding locations in the rural areas, and allows you to these sites, less demanding path and build a portfolio of characters, to show landowners how to drag into the city.

Now existing, old wooden billboards and Upgradethem (make sure its legal first). Re-zone land, or even better, then continue with the existing re-zoning cases, that the new regulatory sites are available.

Go to the owner of a two-sided billboard that has a user (McDonalds was Fina, etc.) were built and whether they admit it would you hire the face walk away from their business for a nominal amount so that you can rent again.
